What is the VirtuALZ Care Team?

Updated: Jul 19, 2022

Being a caregiver can be hard. Really hard. At VirtuALZ we know that some days are better than others. On the days that might feel overwhelming or confusing, instead of packing up and heading to Urgent Care or the Emergency room, Caregivers can call in to VirtuALZ.

The VirtuALZ Care Team is a team comprised of a social worker, registered nurse, resources coordinator, and care navigator. These trained individuals provide the Caregiver with support. They will be available to offer guidance in difficult situations, discuss care strategies, provide information and resources, and assist in determining the best next steps.

The VirtuALZ Care Team is focused on caring for the caregiver. All too often caregivers have little to no support in caring for their loved one with Alzheimer's Disease or Dementia. This can lead to caregiver burnout. The goal of VirtuALZ is to care for the caregiver by becoming part of the support system. Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's Disease or Dementia doesn't have to be done alone.

The VirtuALZ Care Team will gladly partner with and support you as you strive to manage the care of your loved one.
